Primary Services
TMJ Disorder Treatment: Comprehensive evaluation, bite analysis, conservative therapies (splints/night guards, physical therapy, pharmacologic management), minimally invasive procedures (trigger point injections, TMJ PRF/PRP, arthrocentesis), and referrals for surgical consultation when indicated.
Musculoskeletal ( Facial and Neck muscles): Trigger points injection, Dry needling and Botox treatment.
Sleep Apnea Management: customized oral appliance therapy (mandibular advancement devices) in collaboration with local sleep physicians and ENT specialists.
Chronic headaches: evaluation and treatment, in collaboration with neurologist integrating Botox treatment with pharmacological treatment.
Oral conditions and problems: comprehensive evaluation, and performing biopsies as indicated.
Burning Mouth Syndrome: comprehensive evaluation and initiation of medical therapy following the medical guidelines.
Dry Mouth syndrome: comprehensive evaluation and initiation of medical therapy following the medical guidelines.
Meet Dr. Nada Zankar, DDS, MS, DABOP.
Dr. Nada Zankar is a distinguished expert in the management of orofacial pain, TMJ disorders, oral medicine and sleep medicine. She is Board Certified by The American Board of Orofacial Pain ( ABOP). With a Master of Science in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the distinguished program at University of Southern California, she founded The Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine Center in Bellevue to provide the best care for patients seeking relief from chronic and complex conditions.
Deeply committed to the Bellevue community, Dr. Zankar combines her rigorous academic background with a compassionate, evidence-based approach. Her philosophy focuses on treating the whole patient, not just the symptoms, ensuring that every individual who enters the clinic receives a personalized path toward restoration and lasting wellness. Her commitment is for high quality and compassionate care for every patient.
Dr. Zankar completed her dental training and has practiced dentistry for many years, building a broad foundation in both clinical care and community service. Early in her career she volunteered in multiple locations, providing dental care to underserved populations and gaining experience treating a wide range of patient needs. She also worked in a local dental clinic where she managed routine and complex general dentistry cases, reinforcing her skills in diagnosis, restorative procedures, and patient-centered treatment planning.
More recently, Dr. Zankar has focused her practice in oral medicine and orofacial pain clinic. She evaluates and manages patients with conditions such as temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain syndromes, mucosal diseases, and other oral medicine concerns. Her background and experience in general dentistry enhances her ability to recognize and address dental issues that can contribute to oral medicine and orofacial pain problems, and to coordinate care with dentists.
Her combined experience—years of general dentistry, community volunteer work, and specialized practice in oral medicine and orofacial pain—gives Dr. Zankar a practical, comprehensive approach to patient care, emphasizing accurate diagnosis, conservative management, and collaboration with dental and medical colleagues when appropriate.
Dr. Nada Zankar is an active member in WSDA, ADA, SKCDS, and AAFE.
